SUMMARY
Accomplishes working under the supervision of a production manager to plan and coordinate manufacturing processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement, and manage production system.
- Plan, Prepare, Study, and follow production schedules. Controls and estimates workers hours to assign and complete jobs.
- Allocate resources including staff and required materials.
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and work orders, and assigns duties.
- Establishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving problems.
- Observes setup and tryout of newly developed die set and CNC programs in production machine and CNC equipment to determine need for redesign, reprogram or readiness for production use.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Confers with Plant Manager to implement plans and recommendations.
- Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.

Purchasing, Sourcing a wide range of materials and products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enters Purchase Orders into the system, places orders with vendors.
- Schedules freight pickups with vendors
- Performs daily time phase inquiries on material stock.
- Preforms quantity adjustments as needed.
- Performs monthly review of shelf-life materials.
- Matches packing slip with copy of PO and submits to Accounts Payable.
- Responsible for filing all Purchasing Dept. documents.
- Inputs all non-production and Production purchase orders.
- Requests from supplier any missing receiving documents.
- Administers all clerical duties the department requires.
- Confers with suppliers by telephone, E-mail and/or fax to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Expedites delivery of materials.
- Determines best supplier’s reputation, product availability, and pricing.
- Reviews bid proposals and negotiates pricing with input from Sales.
- Evaluates all requests for purchases and coordinate levels of inventory.
- Good communications, organizational and follow up skills are required.
- Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with receiving or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and initiate corrective action.
- Performs physical inventory.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of college; or 1-2 years related industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sufficient experience to hold fundamental conversations regarding common raw materials.
- Some experience in reading blueprints and interpreting customer specifications.
- Sufficient knowledge of the costing process to ensure all necessary information to quote is received.

SUMMARY
Provides accurate assessment of our manufacturing and supplier capabilities to provide precise work instructions. Prepare clear, complete and accurate drawings and programs CNC equipment from blueprints and sketches or notes by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Have working knowledge of various specialized G-Code languages. Write programs for efficient utilization of materials.
- Converts AutoCAD drawings from AutoCAD format to CAM usable format.
- Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
- Observes setup and tryout of newly developed die set and CNC programs in production machine and CNC equipment to determine need for redesign, reprogram or readiness for production use.
- Accurately complete related paperwork and logging into ERP system.
- Confirms that all information concerning the manufacturing or purchasing of a part is accurate.
- Prepares work estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Advises Sales Team of options that will aid in the quoting and selling process.
- Identifies additional capabilities, materials, training, or equipment to improve our ability to maintain our current and prospective customers and to surpass our competition.
- Accurately complete related paperwork and logging into ERP system.
- Updates and validates any changes made to the work order after it has been through production via the computer and verbally to Sales.
- Takes and returns phone calls that could require prompt action.
- Checks daily for delinquent quotes advises the Salesperson of the status.
- Calls Suppliers/Vendors for pricing information.
- Coordinates information between warehouse, shipping, manufacturing, engineering and quality when customer requirements are unclear or questioned.
- Quote price and delivery on team assigned or new accounts with the assistance of a Salesperson or Management.
- Responsible for adhering to the profit guidelines set up by Management and reviewing with Team Leader.

SUMMARY
Drives Delivery truck on assigned routes to deliver and pick up products by performing the following duties.
Local/Delivery Driver:
- Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels and tire pressure; obtaining or scheduling required repairs; validating adherence to roadability standards.
- Loads truck by ordering, placing, and securing items.
- Delivers items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the truck; unloading items; maintaining schedule.
- Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints, adjusting orders. Picks up returned items as required.
- Maintains truck operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; scheduling repairs.
- Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; cleans truck exterior and interior.
- Maintains delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments; recording tracking information; completing driver log and truck performance forms.

- Completes deliveries by driving box truck or pick-up truck to and from vendors/customers.
Warehouse:

- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstation neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current TX driver’s license and clean TX driving record is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, bills of materials, job instructions, and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with all employees of the organization.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee must regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. SUMMARY
We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to expand and manage LGS Technologies market presence in their sales territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but not limited to:
- Personally, manage accounts to achieve sales growth objectives, identify significant sales opportunities, devise solid plans for success at key accounts, and develop sales forecasts and reports to support these efforts.
- Provide expertise and leadership in winning new business for your specific sales territory by working closely with both the customers, and the various members of the LGS Technologies team that might need to be involved.
- Maintain close relationships with key material suppliers to insure we utilize their knowledge and expertise while discussing opportunities with our key customers. Enhance our relationships with the suppliers and support our customers by finding best choices to meet the needs of their applications.
- Participate effectively in the LGS planning process, which includes sales territory discussions, building opportunity funnels, weekly call reports, and quote log follow-up documentation.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on competitive activities in your sales territory.
- Develop business plans to win target accounts in identified focus markets.
- Provide relevant feedback to the Sales Manager regarding LGS Technologies strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and competitive threats within your sales territory.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 to 5 year’s experience in technical sales, a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- A proven track record of making sales calls and developing new markets will distinguish the most desirable candidate.
- Must possess and demonstrate extremely strong persuasive, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively with our customers, and the internal LGS team without direct supervision.
- The position requires significant daily travel within the sales territory, and roughly 10 to 20% overnight travel.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 to 10 years of selling industrial or technical product lines with a history of increasing sales.
- Two or more years of experience developing and selling custom fabricated products to significant accounts in our industry.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- While presenting LGS Technologies capabilities, products, and solutions, the sales representative needs to be able to successfully communicate this information to our customers in face-to-face, phone calls, tradeshows, and other related meetings.
