Ohio-based Beta Theta Pi organization says in a statement that it was left with little choice than to close its Ohio University chapter, founded on the campus in 1841 because of underage drinking.

University of Kentucky’s SAE fraternity member lit a match and set another brother on fire that was covered in toilet paper. The victim survived with first degree burns. The fraternity is being closed because of the hazing and the fire damages affecting the SAE house.

SUNY Potsdam fraternity has been banned for multiple violations of college policy involving, among other things, hosting underage beer parties. The Delta chapter of the Psi Phi fraternity had been on temporary suspension for multiple violations last year, but its members had been working to regain recognition.

Fraternities need to realize there are sanctions the Greek organization are directed to follow. When the sanctions are violated there is little else the Greek Judicial Board can do but to shut down the fraternity.

What ever happened to the saying, “Boys will be boys?” Underage drinking is a law, harassment is a law. It is tough to see the bromances broken up for crimes that only few were involved in. How about you boys watch each other’s backs, stop lighting matches, and just get laid!!

Last Friday was Johnny's Birthday. Like any self respecting member of the male species, when a friend has a special day like a birthday or a Friday we took him to where the ladies were.
